Is stoneware or parquet better?

This is one of the most frequent questions asked by those who have to choose a floor for a renovation or for a new home.

Obviously there isn't a dry and unequivocal answer, both types of flooring have strengths and weaknesses.

Unlike parquet, wood-effect porcelain stoneware requires much simpler maintenance, is less prone to abrasion, scratches and stains, is resistant to common detergents and does not fear exposure to sunlight. Wood-effect porcelain stoneware is also water-repellent and fireproof, so it can be exposed to water, humidity and heat sources.

If it is true that porcelain stoneware has greater resistance, it is equally true that this material will never be able to completely reproduce the sensation that real wood gives us. You experience parquet, you touch it, you breathe it, it has those asymmetries of color and veining that give you a unique emotion and elegance. A universe of essences to choose from from the classic oak through the ancient Indian teak up to the Italian olive tree.

Parquet is a living material that changes over time and gives us an unrepeatable emotional value. In addition to the sensations that this natural material gives us, parquet is an excellent acoustic and thermal insulator.

So basically what to choose? There are many variations, but the only thing that really matters is your desire, the way you imagine your home, you have to close your eyes and try to compose the home of your dreams piece by piece!
